This week's topic was persuasive writing to be specific in essays, basically it is a piece of academic writing in which you can expose your opinion in clear arguments if you are agree or disagree with something. I would like to share with you some writing steps for persuasive essays.

1. Take a position.

2. Know your audience.

3. Research your topic.

Now I would like to share with you my Persuasive letter, I hope you agree with me why I wrote this letter and why rule should be changed at school.

Dear Principal Ms. Ruano. 

I am writing you this letter to express to you my disagreement with one of the school rules that you have approved since 2019. I understand that this rule was accepted by yourself, with the aim of having a better learning process, and communication between students, without distraction of the technology, but I'm pretty sure that it does not affect the learning method of the students. That is why I want to point out one of the rules that I consider is unnecessary in the internal regulations of the School. 

The school rule that I do not agree with, is that they do not accept cellphones or other type of technology in the School, I know that they do it so that students are not distracted and not be learning obstacle in the classes; but I think that this rule do not affect the teaching-learning process in students, on the contrary it would help us to have greater knowledge and would be a tool for new learning, according to the expert Olga Mendoza (Mexico) "The most important of the use of ICTs within the classroom is to have an action plan: Methodology of the use of these tools". With this reference I would like to change your point of view related with the rule, to implement the technology in our learning process, I know that you have your rules established, so that those rules are complied with and so that no one breaks them, but I would like to recommend that you change it, so that we have better learning opportunities.

But on the other hand I want to congratulate you for the great work that you are doing with the school because despite not being a prestigious or recognized institution it does everything in its power.

Film Review

 FILM REVIEW. 

Hello again, My readers!!!

This week's topic was about film review in which learned how to critique a film and providing an original opinion without giving away too much of the plot. (Spoilers)

I would like to share with you some things that we can use to rate or ponder the plot of a film.

1. Great: Basically this is to share a good opinion about the film, for me it could be a 70-80% in which you express that you really enjoyed the film. For example for me a great movie is "Shrek".

2. Okay: For me this could be a 50% of the plot  I could consider it more or less or as it says "passable", but it could not be considered bad either. For example for me a Okay movie is "Guardians of the Galaxy"

3. Bad: This could be considered as less than 50% in which the film was ugly and they didn't like it or as they say "kicking". For example for me a bad movie is "Star Wars"

Well, with this brief explanation of what we learned this week, I would like to share with you my composition. I hope you liked it. 

Made of honor: Everything goes through for a reason.

Has it ever happened to you that you wanted to be the protagonist of a series or film? To be honest with you that has been my dream; Watching a movie that grabs your attention from the beginning to the end of the plot could be considered one of your favorites for the simple fact that you enjoyed it, it is funny or because you cried because of how beautiful it was, sometimes it makes you look over it. Over and over and you could say you never get tired of seeing it, so let me tell you a little bit about the made of honor movie. 

Released in 2008 directed by Paul Weiland and written by Adam Sztykiel is a famous film known for being an American romantic comedy, but it is not just the typical romance movie, this film can make you laugh, sigh or even tears in which much of the plot takes place in New York and Scotland, where a strong bond of friendship grows between the protagonists Patrick Dempsey, Michelle Monaghan and Kevin McKidd also known for their roles in Grey’s Anatomy serie where they play the role of doctors. 

Some of the many reasons why I like and enjoyed this romantic film are, first of all your best friends always will be there to support you and regardless of the nonsense you do, this is something I would have always liked to have, friends who will always support you in everything, but it is clear that sometimes is only seen in the movies; second that sometimes love comes when you least expect it and with whom you least imagine, this is something that i'm sure that if it can happen at some point to fall in love with the person you least expected.

 To sum up this film, it's completely funny and romantic. It will make you fall in love with the characters and it will make you not get tired of watching it. Then you wait, go see it, you will have a good time!

This week the topic was propagada in persuasive writing that it is the spread of information or ideas with the purpose of influencing somenthing or buy products, most propaganda use emotional thinking in which they try to change the mind of the readers.

Also we discuss about the three types of propaganda that are:

1. Bandwagon appeal:  Persuade the reader to do, think or buy something just because of its popularity or because everyone is doing it, for example: BTS Meal.

2. Emotional appeal: Persuade the reader by using words that appeal to the reader's emotional instead of a logical reason for example: "Save ralph".

3. Testimonial attempts: Persuade the reader by using a famous person to endorse a product or idea for example: Selena Gomez Pantene commercial.

Guys this is the propaganda that catch my attention.

MY COMPOSITION

Two productivity habits that works for me 

 

It always seems impossible until it's done -Nelson Mandela. To be productive is not necessarily to have a talent, either it's not a trait we are born with, to be productive it’s something that we all learned from trial and error, make smart decisions about tasks, events and the most important putting it into practice. For me productivity is making something that makes me feel good that marks the personality of who we are, that also something that marks us and helps us to be better both mentally and emotionally, The key to being productive is believing in yourself that we can do what we want and believing that nothing is impossible.

Starting strong is a habit that works for me, starting with a good attitude and thinking that all that we propose to do it we can achieve, I know that not every day is the same but it’s important that we never change our mind that we can start our days strong, I could say that I’m not the person who that start every day with the right foot but I’m tried to do it most of the times and when I can, since start the quarantine I set out to be better to do everything regardless how hard it was, and it is something that I don’t regret and what I will continue to do. 

Defining your why, this is something that always asks me, What is my why? Is a feel-good feeling or why should i do it, this is something complicated to understand but I have the answer to this, it is easy! because I like because I feel sure of who I am, I also do things because I like them and not to leave the commitment, feeling the need to move on and continue without seeing or hearing what they will say, that’s the reason why. To sum up productivity habits can be a real challenge at times, but once habits are established in us we benefit forever.

 

Ads and Magazines

WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

In this week, the challenge was to create an ads and a magazine and for me it was a really challenging because was difficult to create a magazine, but I really enjoyed the process. In this week to be specific wednesday in the class we discuss about the new ads such as the new song that is really catchy with the name vaccination, I really liked it because I had never heard it, listen to it I recommend it, and also we discuss about magazine that is a periodical publication in which contains stories, fiction, articles, recipes etc; so I create my own magazine I really enjoy this activity and I hope you enjoy it too!!
