Organizing your paper (Outlines)

In this week we learned two differents outlines. We learned about Point by point stucture and Subject by suject structure, each one describe different method to created an outline. 

POINT-BY-POINT: In this type of structure you can examine one aspect of one subject or object and the same aspect of the second subject but within the same paragraph, for example: 


SUBJECT-BY-SUBJECT: With this kind of structure you address each subject in separate paragraphs, for example:

Students Who Work and Unemployed Students: Who takes the best of this Life?

Point by point

Introduction:

Have you ever ask yourself about what are the differences and similities between students who work or unemployed students? Let me tell you some of the most common.

Paragraph 1: Students who Works and unemployed students, who have more advantage?

·         The students who work, have to pay their own studies.

·         Unemployed students have someone who pay for their studies

·         Both of them have the same academic responsabilities, but in a different way.

Paragraph 2: Students who work and unemployed students can buy their own things?

·         The students who work have the capability to buy their own things, and also save money.

·        Unemployed students depend on their parent´s to buy their things and also they have a limit on what they can buy.

·         Both students have the same learning process, but each one develop as best as they can.

Paragraph 3: Students who work and unemployed students have the same free time?

·         The students who work do not have much free time, but most of them have day off once in a week.

·      Unemployed students just have the responsability with their Studies, that’s means that they have enough time to do activities and homeworks.

·          Both have the same Schedule if they studie the same carrer, but each one have to organize their time as the best suits them.

Conclusion:

To sum up, each kind of students who work or unemployed students have the same capability and posibility to achieve their goals, but it does not matter what type of students you are, just remember achieve what you want!

Outline topic n°2

Driving a Car or Riding a Bus, which works for university students?

Subject by subject

Introduction:

                Have you ever ask yourself what is the best option to go to the University and which transport is the most convenient? Let me share with you some aspects that we need to know.

 Object 1: Driving a Car

·         Point 1: Time

-          Students do not worry with the time and the trajectory because, they control their own time.

·         Point 2: Cost

-          Students spend more money for the gasoline, car maintenance and parking

·         Point 3: Comfort

-          Students are free to do their want such as listening to music, etc.

Object 2: Riding a bus

·         Point 1: Time

-          Students must to get up early to avoid being late to class.

·         Point 2: Cost

-          Students only pay the bus fare.

·         Point 3: Comfort

-          Students usually leave in full transport.

Conclusion:

In short, both means of transportation have advantages and disadvantages; but that depends of the students and what suits them best, but what would you choose?
