Here is an example of a new technique that we learned this week

Driving a car or Riding a bus?

In El Salvador it is common to see people travel by bus to go to their jobs, shopping etc, but now more cars are observed than buses. Nowadays having a car is not luxury is a necessity but not all people have the possibility of buying or having one. But have you ever asked yourself about what is better, travel by car or by bus? Well, I would like to share with you some differences aspects between travel by car and travel by bus.

First, time is important for those who driving and for those who travel by public transport (buses), in the case of traveling by bus, the passenger does not care about the trajectory, but the time, which lasts the trip to their destination, but speaking of the driver is the one who gets tired and is the one who must measure the time of the trip, but in the case of people who drive their own car driving for many hours is very exhausting, but they control their own time.

Second, the Cost, this changes depending on the situation, in the case of travel by bus the passenger just pay for the ticket fare with an accesible Price for example: $0.25, $0.35 cents or depeding of the trajectory of the bus and the route, but if you use the car you have to buy gasoline, for maintenance, pay for parkig etc, and other things that can cost a lot, so my recomendation in this case is travel by bus because you can save money.

Third, The traffic stress, this is something that many people struggle to avoid, but that always happens. In the case of traveling by bus, you reduce stress, because you do not have to drive, and if you are sit, you can have a nap while in traffic, but in the case of the driver has to deal with the traffic, but if you travel by car, you might stress if there are any accident, and you have to wait in line and you have to deal with traffic.

On the other hand, findind parking is so difficult in some ways, if you are travel by bus, that is not a problem, because the transport driver leaves the Passenger in front of the stop of their destination, but if you travel by car in some places such as mall, restaurants, etc, is difficult and stressful to find a parking space, so that means in that case is better travel by bus.

And the last but not the least, the comfort is very important since most people look for comfort as something fundamental in any aspect, but in the case of travel by bus sometimes it is bad or uncomfortable, the passenger usually sits with unknown people, and also that transportation usually comes full and personally I could say that it's very uncomfortable for people to push you or pass you carrying, but if you travel by car you are free to do you want such as listening your favorite music, make up if you are girl etc, and also you travel with your family or friends.

To sum up, both means of transport have their differences; but that depends of the person and what suits them best, but where would you prefer to travel by car or by bus?
